The Work
Not a single shoot, but a relationship, built over years of return visits, until Jonathan's images had become the school's own visual language. Here is where that work ended up: the prospectus, the magazine, the advertising and the invitations sent to families.
Prospectus
Printed copies handed out at marketing events and prep-school visits. Jonathan's photograph carries the main cover, with a collage of mixed images inside, the document that has to convince a family their son will belong here.

Magazine & Advertising
Jonathan's image carried the 2018 cover of The Chronicle, the school magazine, printed in multiple copies and seen across South Africa, and ran on through Michaelhouse's advertising in a range of outside publications.

Invitations & Covers
Invitations to parents and prospective parents, from Speech Day to the Grade 8 Open Day, alongside cover pages for the booklets the school produces for its events.

The Library
Behind every cover and campaign sits a single, consistent image library: chapel, sport, the arts, boarding life, portraits and aerials of the grounds, built up over return visits and ready whenever the school needs it.
