Manx Wildlife Trust cares for the island's wild places and the sea around them, and its events invite everyone to look closer. Jonathan photographs that curiosity at work: children meeting starfish at the Festival of the Sea touch tanks in Port Erin, and young naturalists discovering what lives in a Manx woodland, one magnifying glass at a time.
Every animal at the festival is gathered from Manx waters by experienced divers and returned to the sea when the weekend ends. The photographs do the same job the Trust does: they make you care about what is already here.
